To ensure proper and appropriate implementation of F&B rules and  procedures, all service staff are to follow food and beverage DO’S &  DON’S in accordance with the standard. 

Procedures

Do's:

  • Maintain etiquette and manners.
  • Approach guests with a soft tone and a smile.
  • Greet guests appropriately based on the time of day.
  • Deal with guests in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Cooperate and support colleagues.
  • Arrive on duty 15 minutes early.
  • Maintain proper dress code and posture.
  • Stay informed about promotions and events.
  • Use English while serving guests.
  • Solve personal issues during breaks.

Don'ts:

  • Argue with guests.
  • Smoke or chew gum in the working area.
  • Engage in gossip or chatting with guests during service.
  • Display impatience or nervous habits.
  • Lean against walls or furniture.
  • Engage in personal activities during work hours.
  • Keep hands in pockets while on duty.
  • Take or keep hotel property without authorization.
  • Take unexplained leave.
  • Carry personal cell phones while on duty.
  • Talk loudly or make comments about guests.
  • Create noise or disturbance that may affect guests.
These rules create a professional environment, prioritize guest satisfaction, and ensure smooth operations within the establishment.
